We interrupted our Hobby Lobby theme and here's more on the worst decision by the Fascist Five since Bush v. Gore... First, from Salon.com:

"We are a corporate theocracy now: The Christian right seeks cultural and political domination."

"Christian right's plan is simple: Dominate courts, state legislatures, and push their twisted morality on all of us."

"If fascism comes to America, it will not be identified with any 'shirt' movement, nor with an 'insignia,' but it will probably be 'wrapped up in the flag and heralded as a plea for liberty and preservation of the constitution,' wrote in a 1936 issue of The Christian Century. Nobel Laureate recipient Sinclair Lewis put it even more succinctly when he warned, 'It [fascism] would come wrapped in the flag and whistling the Star Spangled Banner.'"

"No one who has followed the rise of the Christian Right in national politics over the course of the past three decades should be surprised by Monday’s Supreme Court decision to grant corporations religious personhood. It was as predictable as Pat Robertson saying something stupid about gay sex. The hyper religious conservatives on the bench of the nation’s high court, all of whom were appointed by Republican presidents, see the federal government as being controlled by 'secular humanists' who wish to make war against the purity of the Christian belief system. Like the 89 million Americans who count themselves as evangelicals, they seek total cultural and political domination.

"Not only is the Christian Right the most politically agitated and reliable voting bloc of the Republican Party, but it is also emboldened like no other time in their warped history..."

And who made this decision?

There might be a slight problem coming up for those living in the Land of The Free...

"Is America in danger of fracturing into two countries, one secular, one religious?"

"Could America break apart along religious lines, with devout Christians going one way and the rest of us going another? Think of the old 'Jesusland' meme—the map of a North America divided between 'Jesusland,' the states that backed George W. Bush in the 2004 presidential election, and 'the United States of Canada,' consisting of the states that backed John Kerry and Canada that delighted liberals enraged by Bush’s re-election..."

And what's really in store for us after this decision?

And this...

Or this?

800px-Okonjima_Lioness

"WASHINGTON, DC–The Supreme Court ruled on Monday that Roman-owned
pizza chain Little Caesar’s was within its rights to place Christian employees in an arena and then unleash starved, vicious lions and lionesses upon them. The court cited religious freedom as its guiding principle. The 5-to-4 ruling opened the door to potentially thousands of Christian Little Caesar employees nationwide being immediately fed to the top predators of the African savannah..."

Or this...

"Managers at a Hobby Lobby store in Arkansas stoned to death an employee today for being gay.

"According to a report in the Ozark Post-Gazette, the store’s management decided to execute Jeremy Gleason, 43, in an alley behind the store in accordance with the Biblical verse Leviticus 20:13, which commands believers to kill homosexual men..."

But this is what rightwing Xtians really want:

"The Daily Shit."

"UPDATE: Hobby Lobby announces that, according to the Holy Bible, it reserves the right to burn any employee suspected of being a witch..."

And this!

Photo: UPDATE: Hobby Lobby announces that, according to the Holy Bible, any employee found guilty of adultery, will be stoned to death...

And here is the ugly truth...from Allen Clifton at Forwardprogressives.com:

"Right-Wing Christians, Radical Islamic Fundamentalists – They’re Pretty Much Exactly the Same."

radicals
Radical Christians Or Radical Muslims?
"Though I don’t talk about it much, I find it kind of interesting that the primary 'enemy' of the right-wing conservative 'Christian' is a radical Islamic fundamentalist.

"Think about it.  Both of these groups of people live their lives based on hand-picked sections of their religious books.  Neither follows every rule written inside because it’s essentially impossible to do so.  And even within each of these faiths there are many denominations created by humans who basically interpret parts of each of these books by how they feel they should be followed.

"They both believe that they’re right and everyone else will surely burn in hell.  They both tend to want to force their views on others – even if those others don’t agree with what they believe in.  Each of these groups, if they had their way, would have theocratic governments based on their religions."

Mr. Clifton hits it on the mark, there is no difference between religious radicals.  As he explains further:

"Now granted, there are some differences, but isn’t the core of what each of these groups want essentially the same?
  • "Because when I say that I know of a group of people who:
  • Oppose equal rights for homosexuals.
  • Don’t trust the United States government.
  • Believe abortion is murder.
  • Want a nation based on theocracy.
  • Believe women should be subservient to men.
  • Think our education system should be based on religion instead of science.
  • Want to oppress the religious freedoms for every religion besides theirs.
  • Oppose access to contraceptives.
  • Aren’t opposed to a violent overthrow of the federal government.
Keep religion in the temples and churches and we eliminate hate. Eliminate hate and we have a chance for a better world.  Criminalize Conservatism at the same time and we save even more lives.

notice it always coincides with their own desires."
