We should probably define "shambles" if we want to see what is happening with the GOP in the 21st century.
"Shambles" doesn't quite fit the description of a Party in control of 2 out of 3 branches of government.
"Shambles" doesn't sound like the guys who lie, steal, and kill to protect the rich and get away with it time after time.
In fact, if by "shambles" we mean that the GOP and the Conservative "movement" is just beginning to thrust us down the road to a new American Feudal Age, making it high time that we criminalize Conservatism...then "shambles" it is!
