Well, Virginia - let's see what Conservatives and Republicans say and do, because that will tell us how they are different.
First, God talks to both of them...and only them!

They're both quite involved with furthering your children's education...
"Republicans Who Cut Science Budgets Are Not Stupid — They're Malicious — And Their Goal is Ignorance."

"Defunding NASA and other science orgs is just part of a grand scheme to make us all dumber.
"The story about Republicans in committee axing big hunks of government science budgets sparked a deluge of social media and other commentary last week. Here's Elizabeth Kolbert at The New Yorker:
"Last week, the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee, headed by Texas Republican Lamar Smith, approved a bill that would slash at least three hundred million dollars from NASA’s earth-science budget. “Earth science, of course, includes climate science,” Representative Eddie Bernice Johnson, a Texas Democrat who is also on the committee, noted. (Smith said that the White House’s NASA budget request favored the earth sciences “at the expense of the other science divisions and human and robotic space exploration.”) Johnson tried to get the cuts eliminated from the bill, but her proposed amendment was rejected. Defunding NASA’s earth-science program takes willed ignorance one giant leap further. It means that not only will climate studies be ignored; some potentially useful data won’t even be collected.
"The vote brought howls of protest from NASA itself and from wider earth-science circles. The agency’s administrator, Charles Bolden, issued a statement saying that the bill “guts our Earth science program and threatens to set back generations worth of progress in better understanding our changing climate.” In an opinion piece for the Washington Post, Marshall Shepherd, a professor of atmospheric science at the University of Georgia and the former president of the American Meteorological Association, said that he could not sleep after hearing about the vote. 'None of us has a "vacation planet" we can go to for the weekend, so I argue that NASA’s mission to study planet Earth should be a "no-brainer,"' he wrote."As Kolbert notes, the committee had previously whacked significant amounts from the budgets for the National Science Foundation’s geosciences program and Department of Energy's new energy sources program..."
...because it makes some of their tall tales more palatable to stupid people.

But back to the differences between the two - They're both cursed by facts...
"Independent Study Finds That Every Republican Prediction About Obamacare Was Wrong."

"It’s like Republicans are cursed by facts these days.
"Just days after House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) went on Meet the Press to fearmonger about Obamacare, yet another study came along to sock it to his desperate Obamacare claims. An independent health policy research program study released Wednesday showed all of his predictions about Obamacare were wrong. Way wrong. Wrong on every single fearmongering prediction and claim they made.
"Under Obamacare, nearly 17 million have gotten insurance coverage since the fall of 2013. Seventeen MILLION.
"The Rand analysis of their study revealed the facts:
"Insurance coverage has increased across all types of insurance since the major provisions of the federal Affordable Care Act took effect, with a total of 16.9 million people becoming newly enrolled through February 2015, according to a new RAND Corporation study.
Researchers estimate that from September 2013 to February 2015, 22.8 million Americans became newly insured and 5.9 million lost coverage, for a net of 16.9 million newly insured Americans..."
...and they both stick to their opinions, no matter what...

...and both of them are pretty sound with their money...

...and both of them have battle-tested experience!

But can we really say that they're the same thing?

Some people think that Conservatives and Republicans are completely different...

...but they both believe in the same health care plan...

...and climate change causes...

...gays and taxes...

...the sanctity of marriage...

...the path to prosperity...

...the 1950s...

...and the Minimum Wage...

...and other minor matters.

Because with the GOP and Conservatism, there's no difference between party and ideology.

And when a Republican looks into a mirror...

...he sees that supply-side economics andtrickle-down economics are the same thing - just like Conservatism and the GOP are one and the same...

...because trickle-down kills, and so do Conservatives and Republicans.

********************

The defining ideology of Conservatism is trickle-down economics and it has always been the hallmark of the Republican Party.
Everything else is smoke and mirrors - abortion, states' rights, individual responsibility, ad infinitum.
It's easy figuring out what they say and do and what they really stand for: You just follow the money.
The GOP money support comes from the richest and greediest among us, but since they're a minority the Cons find their voter support from the least-educated and most hateful among us.
Shouldn't there be a law against these criminals, something that would...
...criminalize Conservatism?
