"Although it is not true that all conservatives are stupid people, it is true that most stupid people are conservative,"said John Stuart Mill. And nowhere is this more evident than in the United States of America.
When the GOP ops in Congress keep trying to kill the Affordable Care Act over and over and over some think that it's either a matter of stupidity or it's a display of awesome stupidity...but in their case it's neither, as Conservative "thinker" George Will explains:
"Conservatives define themselves in terms of what they oppose."
But theory aside, there's an incredible amount of stupidity in the Conservative world, like this toon shows us...
It even appears that the Cons GLORY in their own stupidity sometimes...
Both now and in the immediate past...
And by "stupid" we mean REALLY dumb...
The Cons even KNOW that they're stupid...
But here's the question:
Do you wonder sometimes if their stupidity isn't just a cover for evil?
And the reason is because it's easy to see how the Conservative leadership NEEDS stupid people to keep up the charade that they are a law-abiding bunch...
In fact, that seems to be a strategy that is working out quite well for the Cons over a long period of time...

There are at least two reasons that Conservative leaders don't mind being called stupid:
1. Because many of their Southern brethren glory in being called stupid.
2. Because it covers up their criminality.
Reagan wasn't the sharpest pencil in the box and Dubya was arguably the dullest, but each had the same criminal impulses...to destroy democracy in favor of bestowing our wealth and political power to the riches and greediest among us.
That's what Dubya called his "base," and that's what we call a reason to criminalize Conservatism!
