The Blister allusion is from a quote by Abraham Lincoln, "Elections belong to the people. It's their decision. If they decide to turn their back on the fire and burn their behinds, then they will just have to sit on their blisters."
The upcoming election is in your hands, folks. Stay at home and sit on your blisters, and if you believe the pre-election noise from the GOP and their role in Class Warfare in America you deserve the blisters even more...

...because here's what they really believe:

Of course, many of us do follow the election process from beginning to end...

And except for those patriotic people in other countries who fight against anti-democratic forces, some never pay attention at all...

So who do YOU think does the better job?

Me too. And while we're at it, let's make sure that EVERYONE votes this year...

********************

We're kidding, of course. But Low Information Voters and those who never vote need to be awakened somehow if we're ever going to kick the Cons out of Washington and keep them out of our hair permanently.
Is mandatory voting the answer? Should we give prospective voters a civics test? Couldn't we just give some cash to those who vote?
Or shouldn't we just criminalize Conservatism...it's a more permanent solution.
